Raptor Education Program

May 18, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 pm

Come and enjoy a new RAPTOR Seminar with us! Presenter Beth Thomas, a Wildlife Educator, will be on hand to speak about the unique attributes of raptors, address the challenges of declining habitats, the hazards of toxic chemicals and the role humans have played in both endangering and protecting these majestic birds. There will be 4 birds – one red tailed hawk and 3 owls (great horned, barred, and eastern screech) on site for live viewing and photos. All the birds are non-releasable because of some sort of permanent injury. All have a unique story to tell and all of these birds are native to North Ga.

Come in and get an up close view of these amazing birds!!
